Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner! THANK GOODNESS! I hope you are all enjoying the outdoors, planting your gardens and flowers, and smiling a little bit more (I know I am!) There have been a few changes recently at the clinic, so it is time for a few updates. Change of Clinic Hours (AS OF JUNE 11, 2019) As you may (or may not) know, since February I have been working part-time at Nature Doctors, Tuesday's and Wednesday's. During this time, I have been filling in for two of my colleagues while they are on maternity leave. However, around mid-May I learned that one of the naturopathic doctors was coming back to work much earlier than initially agreed upon. As a result of this change and other factors beyond my control, I will be no longer be working at Nature Doctors EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Therefore, I've decided to make some changes to my availability at my clinic, resuming my original schedule. As in previous years, I will not be working on Saturday's for July and August (because we all need to maximize our weekends during the warm months!) Monday CLOSED (after June 10th) Tuesday 9:00 AM – 12:00PM & 1:30PM – 7:00PM Wednesday 9:00AM – 12:00PM & 1:30PM – 7:00PM Thursday 9:00AM – 12:00PM & 1:30PM – 7:00PM Friday 9:00AM – 12:00PM & 1:30PM – 5:00PM Saturday 9:00AM – 4:00PM (CLOSED for July & August) Introducing Fullscript In order to better serve my patients, I have added a new service to my practice.. Fullscript is an online supplement store which delivers doctor-prescribed supplements right to your front door! This platform is great for both the patient and the doctor, as it increases supplement accessibility while decreasing the need for the doctor to carry the product in-house! Furthermore, a larger variety of professional products is readily available, which is a great service to the patient. Shipping costs are minimal, and shipping time is reasonable. Fullscript allows the doctor to personalize the dose and reminders are set when it is time to re-order. Supplements must be prescribed by the practitioner, at which time you would receive an email or text notification to purchase these items (that is, you can't “shop for supplements”.) PLEASE NOTE: This will not change the availability of patient's supplements at my clinic immediately, but over time I may be transitioning to this platform for certain products. Currently the staff at our multidisciplinary clinic includes 2 chiropractors, 1 physiotherapist, 3 full-time massage therapists, 1 part-time massage therapist, and 1 naturopathic doctor (yours truly!) The clinic would like to add another registered massage therapist, specifically Monday and Tuesday morning (9am-1pm), Thursday evening (4-7:30pm), Friday late afternoon (3-5:30pm), and all day Saturday (any hours).
