February 2020

Happy (belated) New Year and new decade! Welcome to the Year Of The Rat (according to the Chinese zodiac), the first of all the Chinese zodiac signs and one that represents a “new beginning”. Not to mention the year is 2020, a number that brings to mind clear vision, and maybe a better understanding of where you need to “be”. So if you are feeling the need for a diet or lifestyle “reset”, a new beginning of your own.... then you know who to call on! I am here for you. I have a good feeling about this upcoming year, and I hope you do too!

Blue Cross Direct Billing It is with great pleasure to announce that I am offering Blue Cross direct billing to my patients, as of February 1, 2020. I am offering this service to patients with Blue Cross as their primary insurance. If you are a returning or new patient, please contact the clinic and let us know if you would like to begin taking advantage of this service. Ideally, we would like to get your information ahead of your next appointment to make the process of direct billing easier. Be sure to bring your Blue Cross card to the appointment so we may take a copy for your file. If you have other extended health care insurance, we still ask that you pay for your appointment at the visit's conclusion and submit your claim on your own. Thankfully, most companies are able to reimburse their clients within a few a business days. Winter Holidays Please note that I will be away from my clinic March 12-19, 2020. The clinic will remain open during its usual hours, and the front desk can still help you with booking appointments and filling supplement orders while I am away. For health emergencies/crises, please call 911 or go to your nearest urgent care, or contact Health Links [call 204-788-8200 in Winnipeg or 1-888-315-9257 toll-free elsewhere in the province.] Reminder: No Scent Policy Please review our policy here: https://www.winnipegnaturopathicdoctor.ca/scent-free-policy. The clinic is still noticing it's patrons wearing scents. Please respect our clinic policy for the safety of those with severe allergies before entering the clinic, as you may be asked to reschedule your appointment if you are wearing scents. This includes perfume, cologne, essential oil, lotion, deodorant/ antiperspirant, hair product, scented hand soap, laundry agent, and any other product applied to or worn on the body that carries a strong scent. We thank you in advance for your understanding!
