Well would you look at that...another year is nearly done again! Do you find that time speeds up the older you get? I sure do! I guess it's true...time flies when you're having fun!
Price Increase
Due to an increase in cost in over-head and operating expenses, there will be some minor increases in some of my consultation prices, as of January 1, 2019. These include a $5.00 increase in the Initial Adult Consultation (90min), as well as small increases in the follow-up consultation fees for a 75min (+$10.00), 60min (+$5.00), and 45min (+$5.00) visit. All other consultation and treatment fees will remain the same.
Holiday Closures
As of Saturday, December 22nd, 4:00pm, I will be on holidays, returning to the office Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019. During this time I may not be answering emails, phone calls, nor fulfilling supplement refill requests. Therefore, it is highly encouraged that you ensure you have all the supplements and care you require sorted out before December 22nd. The clinic will be open Saturday, December 22nd 9:30am to 2:00pm.
Also, Active Chiropractic & Massage will be closed to the general public December 25-26th, 2018. The clinic will be open 9am to 12pm (noon) on Monday, December 24th and Monday, December 31st.
If you have a medical emergency, or require immediate assistance during these dates/closures, please visit your nearest urgent care facility, walk-in clinic, or call 911.
Upcoming for 2019
This past year has seen the launch of my new website, and the launch of a Facebook and Instagram account! Much gratitude to Ms. Pamela, one of our amazing receptionists, who was a major contributor in the development of the website!
In the New Year I hope to add Blue Cross direct billing to the services I provide. In time, I may consider adding other insurance providers for direct billing.
As of February 2019, I will once again be working part-time as a locum (temporary) practitioner at Nature Doctors at #7-1200 Waverley Street, on Tuesday's and Wednesday's for a year. I will be filling in for two of my naturopathic colleagues while they are on maternity leave. As a result, there will be a change in my clinic hours at Active Chiropractic & Wellness. Patients that are interested in staying on with me as a patient are encouraged to book at my main location, Active Chiropractic & Wellness.
