Amaze Balls

Tastes like a decadent chocolate truffle, but fashioned for good gut health and a healthy dessert! Even kids like these!  Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup pitted prunes 

  • ~10 dates 

  • 10 tbsp ground flax seed (~1/2 cup) 

  • 4 scoops protein powder (~1/4 cup; I used rice protein powder) 

  • 1 tbsp vanilla 

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder  

  • 1/4-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (dairy-free, nut-free) 

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil 

Blend all ingredients in a food processor and form into 1.5” balls. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Place in a container lined with parchment paper. Freeze for about 10-min, and then store in fridge (they can get messy when kept at room temperature).
